Tu Cocinita Catering in Hialeah was closed after live roaches were found beneath a sink while preparing food for health-supportive programs, raising particular concern. All establishments were required to complete thorough cleanups and pass re-inspections before reopening. These incidents highlight ongoing challenges with pest control and food safety compliance among some South Florida eateries, as reported by multiple inspection agencies and local news outlets.
