38-Year-Old Man Fatally Stabbed in Clapton

Jade Anthony Barnett, a 38-year-old man in a wheelchair, was tragically stabbed to death in broad daylight on Rushmore Road, Clapton, East London. Despite efforts by the London Ambulance Service and an air ambulance, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Barnett, described by his sister Simone and others as 'cheerful and caring,' was well-known and loved in the community. Two men, aged 28 and 21, have been arrested in connection with the incident. Barnett lost his leg in a motorcycle accident in 2007 and was known for his upbeat and pleasant demeanor. The Metropolitan Police have cordoned off the area and are conducting a detailed investigation.
