Stardom Announces 32-Wrestler 2025 5STAR Grand Prix Lineup
Bea Priestley, formerly known as Blair Davenport in WWE and currently an AEW talent, is making a highly anticipated return to Japan's Stardom promotion by competing in the 2025 5STAR Grand Prix. This year’s tournament is the largest in its history, featuring 32 wrestlers divided into four blocks, with the top three in each block advancing to a knockout stage and block winners receiving a bye to the semifinals. Priestley will compete in the Red Stars A block alongside top talent such as Saya Kamitani and others, marking her first Stardom appearance since 2021 and her second time in the 5STAR Grand Prix after nearly reaching the finals in 2019. She issued a confident video message, declaring herself the “top gaijin” and promising to show the competitors how she remains the best, or “ichiban.” The tournament begins on July 23 and concludes with the finals on August 23 in Tokyo. Priestley’s return adds notable excitement to a prestigious and highly competitive event that showcases both rising stars and established veterans in women’s wrestling.
