Spin Master Greenlights First Original Animated Film Directed by David Soren

Spin Master Entertainment has greenlit its first original animated feature film, marking a significant milestone for the company known for popular kids' franchises like PAW Patrol. The film, scheduled for a 2029 release, is directed by BAFTA and Annie Award nominee David Soren, recognized for his work on Turbo and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. The script is written by Ian Southwood, based on a story by Irish animation creator Chris Dicker, whose original tale promises a family-friendly, four-quadrant film filled with action, comedy, and heartwarming characters set in a beautiful landscape. Spin Master is financing the production independently, with producers Jennifer Dodge, Laura Clunie, and Toni Stevens—key figures behind the PAW Patrol films—overseeing the project.
