LEGO Plans 2,912-Piece The Goonies Diorama Featuring Pirate Ship, Minifigures

LEGO has released a detailed 2,912-piece set based on the beloved 1980s adventure film The Goonies, featuring the Inferno pirate ship and iconic scenes such as the Fratellis' hideout, secret caves, and One-Eyed Willy's treasure room. The set includes 12 minifigures representing key characters like Mikey, Mouth, Chunk, Andy, Data, and the Fratellis, with specially designed pieces for Sloth's pirate hat and Mama Fratelli's beret. Oscar-winning actor Ke Huy Quan, who played Data, participated in promoting the set through a nostalgic mini-film, sharing memories and highlighting the set's intricate details and easter eggs. Fans can interact with the model by triggering booby traps, dropping boulders, and playing the Skeleton Organ, which references a famous deleted octopus scene from the film. Originating from a fan submission by Greek designer Vaggelis Ntezes via LEGO Ideas, the set merges the ship with the caves and traps, allowing fans to relive the adventure in brick form. The product will be available for purchase starting November 4, 2025, and measures approximately 7 inches wide, 22.4 inches long, and over 14 inches tall.
