Concord Police Seek Help Locating Missing Men

The Concord Police Department is seeking public assistance in locating two missing men with health issues. Kent Reid, 67, who has schizophrenia and is not taking his medication, was last seen on February 1 at the Rider Transit Center in Concord, boarding a bus to Charlotte. Reid was reportedly going to obtain a copy of his birth certificate and is known to frequent the Tryon Street area but hasn't contacted his family since. Meanwhile, Jule Berisford, 59, who has diabetes and potentially a cognitive impairment, went missing after leaving his Concord home on February 2 to go to a Publix grocery store. Berisford was last seen driving a white Hyundai Santa Fe with North Carolina plates, and authorities have issued a Missing Endangered Alert. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact Concord Police.
