Madonna Releases Long-Lost Ray of Light Remix Album

Madonna is set to release Veronica Electronica, a long-rumored remix album featuring rare and unreleased remixes from her acclaimed 1998 album Ray of Light. Originally envisioned as a companion project in 1998, it was shelved due to the massive success of Ray of Light, which sold over 16 million copies and won four Grammy Awards. The eight-track album includes remixes by notable producers such as Peter Rauhofer, William Orbit, Sasha, BT, and Victor Calderone, alongside a previously unreleased demo titled "Gone, Gone, Gone" produced by Madonna and Rick Nowels. Veronica Electronica will be available digitally and on limited-edition silver vinyl starting July 25, with the lead preview track "Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit)" already released to streaming platforms. This release follows Madonna's recent remix compilation Finally Enough Love and comes amid renewed interest in her career, including a revived biopic project now planned as a Netflix limited series. Fans can expect a nostalgic yet fresh experience as the remixes maintain the original album's track order, offering a new perspective on one of Madonna's most beloved works.
