Boston Fleet Tops Ottawa Charge in Overtime
Sidney Morin scored both goals for the Boston Fleet, including the game-winner just 1:45 into overtime, leading her team to a 2-1 victory over the Ottawa Charge in front of a sold-out crowd of 9,862. The Charge initially took the lead with Victoria Bach's goal in the first period, but Morin equalized later in the same period. Aerin Frankel made 20 saves for the Fleet, who improved to 2-2-2-4 in the standings, remaining tied with the New York Sirens. The game featured a total of 28 shots and saw Boston's special teams successfully deny all four power-play opportunities for Ottawa. The Fleet will have an 11-day break before facing the Toronto Sceptres, while Ottawa is set to play the Sceptres on Tuesday. This matchup highlighted the international talent in the Premier Hockey Federation League, with representatives from seven different countries participating.
