Two Separate Murder Arrests in Colorado and Illinois

Two separate cases have emerged involving arrests related to fatal shootings. In Lakewood, Colorado, Flor Contreras, 25, was arrested for complicity to commit first-degree murder, while Menelson Leonel Ramirez, 27, was apprehended in Texas for murder charges in connection with the death of Nairelis 'Junior' Castel. Meanwhile, in Round Lake, Illinois, brothers Demarion Gibert, 20, and Dimon Gibert, 17, were charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery for the October 2023 shooting death of Chad Greenenwald. Dimon is charged as an adult despite his juvenile status. Extensive investigations with assistance from local and federal law enforcement agencies were conducted in both cases.
