Two Injured in Plymouth Crash Off Route 3

On Sunday night, the Plymouth Fire Department responded to a serious single-vehicle crash off Route 3 at around 8:11 p.m., where an adult male driver was heavily trapped after the vehicle veered into the woods. Firefighters used hydraulic extrication tools to free the driver, which took approximately 20 minutes. He was subsequently transported by Boston MedFlight to a Rhode Island trauma center, while his passenger was taken to South Shore Hospital with serious injuries. Massachusetts State Police are investigating the incident, which left both men with significant injuries.
