Talent Manager Brandon Blackstock Dies Age 48 After Cancer Battle

Brandon Blackstock, the ex-husband of singer Kelly Clarkson and father of her two children, passed away at age 48 after a more than three-year battle with melanoma. His brother, Shelby Blackstock, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram mourning the tremendous loss their family has endured and celebrating Brandon as a beloved brother, father, grandfather, and son. Shelby recalled the cherished memories and lessons Brandon left behind, expressing that although they will miss him deeply, he feels Brandon's presence in everyday moments and humorously promised to do things better and more handsomely in his memory. Brandon was also the stepson of Reba McEntire through her marriage to their father, Narvel Blackstock, and was deeply loved by his family. Kelly Clarkson had recently postponed her Las Vegas residency to spend time with their children during Brandon’s illness.
