In a thrilling youth Test match at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, India U-19 secured a two-wicket victory over Australia U-19, thanks to standout performances by Nikhil Kumar and Mohamed Enaan. Nikhil Kumar scored an unbeaten 55, guiding India to chase down a target of 212 on a turning pitch. Enaan, with his unique bowling style honed under the guidance of Saqlain Mushtaq, took nine wickets in the match, including six in the second innings, to restrict Australia to 214. Notably, 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi made headlines with the fastest U-19 Test century for India, scoring 104 off 62 balls in the first innings. This innings made him the youngest player to score a century in youth Test cricket.
