The accused include co-owners of the game zone and several officials from the Rajkot Municipal Corporation, with charges stemming from criminal negligence. The fire reportedly spread rapidly due to highly flammable construction materials and welding sparks igniting nearby thermocol sheets. Investigators recorded statements from 365 witnesses and assessed the circumstances surrounding the blaze, which engulfed the entire 3,000 square meter facility within minutes. The charges filed under various sections of the Indian Penal Code include culpable homicide and causing grievous hurt. The extensive chargesheet has been submitted to the Rajkot Judicial Magistrate for further legal proceedings.
