Shakira has postponed her concert in Medellín, Colombia, originally set for February 24, due to safety concerns after the stage roof at Estadio Atanasio Girardot sustained damage. This decision comes after she canceled a previous show in Peru on February 16 due to an abdominal issue that required hospitalization. Concert promoter Páramo Presenta emphasized that the safety of the artist, her staff, and the audience was the top priority, and they are working with Shakira to reschedule the event. Shakira expressed her disappointment on social media, stressing that the situation was beyond her control and apologizing to fans who had traveled for the show. The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour marks her first global tour in seven years, with performances scheduled across Latin America, the United States, and Canada. Despite the setbacks, Shakira remains committed to returning to Colombia for future concerts once safety is assured.
