Bola Tinubu Attends Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh

His administration advocates for an immediate ceasefire and emphasizes the need for a peaceful resolution, aiming to revive the two-state solution as a pathway to lasting peace in the region. Tinubu's delegation includes key officials such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Security Adviser, highlighting Nigeria's commitment to peace in a challenging geopolitical climate. This summit is hosted by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and invites Nigeria as a member of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. Tinubu's intervention aligns with Nigeria's broader diplomatic efforts amid its own struggles with Islamist insurgents in the northeast. After the summit, he will return to Abuja.
