Ballymoney High Street Upgrade Completed

The High Street area of Ballymoney has undergone a £1.4 million environmental improvement scheme, celebrating its completion with a special site tour hosted by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. This project, funded by the Department for Communities, included upgrades to lighting, paving, and pedestrian walkways, emphasizing safety and accessibility. Minister for Communities Gordon Lyons expressed support for regeneration schemes that enhance local businesses and community appeal. The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Ciarán McQuillan, highlighted the project's role in attracting investment and creating a more inviting environment. Meanwhile, roadworks are set to begin at Halbeath Roundabout, starting January 12, with an £800,000 maintenance program that includes various upgrades and traffic management measures. Additionally, roadworks outside Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital will close Colney Lane East until January 27, causing potential delays for drivers.
