14 Hospitalized After Skydiving Plane Crash in NJ
A skydiving plane carrying 15 people, including the pilot, crashed into nearby woods after experiencing engine trouble while departing Cross Keys Airport in Williamstown, New Jersey, at around 5:30 p.m. The Cessna 208B sustained extensive damage and left passengers covered in jet fuel, requiring decontamination before transport. Fourteen people were hospitalized with injuries ranging from minor to critical, while one person refused medical treatment at the scene; three victims are in critical condition. Emergency responders and trauma teams quickly arrived, and the public was urged to avoid the area to facilitate rescue access. The aircraft was owned by a private company and leased to Skydive Cross Keys, a prominent skydiving operator. Both the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have launched investigations.
