NaaS Expands EV Charging Network Across 360 Chinese Cities
NaaS Technology Inc., the first U.S.-listed electric vehicle charging service provider in China, announced that by the end of 2024, its charging network has expanded to 360 cities, covering over 50% of the country's total cities. The company has connected approximately 1.15 million chargers, representing about 35% of China's public charging infrastructure. This growth is attributed to strategic partnerships with major automotive brands like BYD, NETA, and FAW-Volkswagen, enhancing access for electric vehicle drivers. CEO Yang Wang emphasized the company's focus on matching supply and demand in the EV charging market through advanced technology and infrastructure investments. Additionally, around 170 cities have seen a significant increase in charging volume, showcasing the effectiveness of NaaS's network. Looking forward, NaaS aims to further enhance its services and expand to meet rising demand in the electric vehicle sector.
