Ionescu, Sabally, Wilson, Ogwumike Named WNBA All-Star Starters for Indianapolis

The 2025 WNBA All-Star starters have been announced, featuring prominent players such as Sabrina Ionescu and Satou Sabally, former Oregon teammates who were highly recognized by fans, media, and players. Ionescu, now with the New York Liberty, made her fourth All-Star appearance and recently set WNBA and NBA records in the 3-point contest, while Sabally is having a career year with the Phoenix Mercury. Las Vegas Aces' A'ja Wilson, a three-time MVP and the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 5,000 points, was named a starter for the sixth time. Nneka Ogwumike of the Seattle Storm will participate in her 10th All-Star Game, tying for third-most in league history. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier received the most fan votes and will serve as All-Star captains, drafting teams from the pool of starters and reserves. The game will take place on July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, with the draft broadcast on July 8 and reserves announced on July 6.
