Brooklyn Teen Fatally Shot; Bronx Boy Injured

A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot in the chest at the Walt Whitman Houses in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, late Saturday night, marking the fifth homicide in Brooklyn's 88th Precinct this year. Police are investigating and searching for a gray Hyundai seen leaving the scene. Separately, an 11-year-old boy was shot in the leg while playing with other children in the Bronx on Saturday evening. The boy was taken to Jacobi Hospital and is in stable condition.
