Juvenile Arrested After Oakland Shooting and Robbery

A juvenile male was arrested in Oakland following a shooting and attempted robbery in the Montclair neighborhood. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning on the 1900 block of Cortereal Avenue when the victim was approached by the armed suspect demanding belongings. After the victim refused, the suspect shot them at least twice before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to a hospital in critical but stable condition. Police arrested the suspect around 6 p.m. the same day and recovered multiple firearms during a subsequent search.
