LEGO Marvel Launches Collector's Edition Iron Man Mark 3 Set

LEGO is releasing a series of new Marvel sets in early 2026, including the standout Iron Man Mark 3 Collectors’ Edition, designed for adults as a posable display model with a design language consistent with other LEGO buildable figures. The Iron Man Mark 3 set features over 1,200 pieces, stands more than 15 inches tall, and includes a detailed display stand and a new Tony Stark minifigure. Designer Aaron Newman explained that the Mark 3 suit was chosen for its iconic MCU significance and its mechanical, blocky aesthetic that suits LEGO's medium better than newer, sleeker suits. The set was initially considered to include glow-in-the-dark elements, but this was abandoned to maintain color accuracy and polish for display purposes. Alongside Iron Man, other Marvel sets coming include a scaled-down Daily Bugle with minifigures like Rhino and Spider-Man, as well as smaller sets featuring battles such as Hulkbuster vs. Hulk and Spider-Man vs. Sandman. LEGO aims to appeal to both collectors and younger fans with this diverse range of Marvel-themed builds, some of which are already available for preorder.
