Vanderbilt, Memphis plan home-and-home basketball series 2025-27

Vanderbilt and Memphis men's basketball teams have agreed to resume their competitive in-state rivalry with a home-and-home series scheduled for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons. The first game will be played at Memphis' FedEx Forum on December 17, 2025, followed by a return game at Vanderbilt's Memorial Gymnasium in the 2026-27 season, with the exact date to be determined. Historically, the series is tied at 8-8, although Memphis has won the last four meetings, including a close 77-75 victory in December 2023.
