Multiple NCAA Softball Programs Announce New Coaching Hires

Several collegiate softball programs have recently announced key coaching additions ahead of the 2025-26 season. Cedarville University welcomed Morgan Zaborowski, a decorated former pitcher and 2019 graduate, as the new assistant softball coach, bringing extensive playing and coaching experience including roles at Ohio Christian University and various school levels. Eastern Illinois University added three players to their roster, including pitchers Rylan Gick and Grace Lemke, and middle infielder Chloe Wamboldt, all transfers with strong backgrounds and accolades. Illinois State hired Brandon Duncan as assistant coach to lead pitchers and catchers, leveraging his 17 years of collegiate coaching experience at multiple institutions. Jacksonville University brought on Holli Mitchell as pitching coach, who has a proven track record at both JUCO and Division I levels, with playing and coaching success highlighted by a NJCAA National Championship and recent achievements at Jacksonville State. Additionally, Central Michigan University added Faith Hensley, a 2022 Ball State graduate and former Alabama player with multiple academic and athletic honors, to their coaching staff, enhancing their expertise in player development.
