Cleveland Browns wide receiver David Bell was carted off the field with a right hip injury during the third quarter of the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bell suffered the injury after being tackled by Jaguars defensive tackle Arik Armstead. He had caught all three of his targets for 27 yards before being ruled out for the rest of the game. Bell, who was recently re-signed after a brief stint on the practice squad, had been contributing effectively both in receiving and blocking roles. The Browns were leading 16-3 at the start of the second half when Bell was injured. His absence will be felt as the team continues its season.
