21 Arrested in Polk County Massage Parlor Operation

A two-day undercover operation in Polk County led to the arrest of 21 women across 12 massage parlors for prostitution-related charges. The Polk County Sheriff's Office, under Sheriff Grady Judd, reported that during the sting operation, 20 therapists were found to offer sexual services instead of legitimate massages. The arrested individuals, mostly from the Republic of China, face potential deportation as authorities coordinate with federal agencies to revoke their visas. One incident involved a therapist physically attacking an undercover officer after being rejected. Sheriff Judd emphasized the importance of maintaining community safety and cracking down on illegal activities within local businesses. Many of the arrested women reportedly live a transient lifestyle, suggesting they may be part of a traveling circuit.
