Charter Reports Q3 Revenue Dip, Strong Mobile Growth
Charter Communications' Form 10‑Q for Q3 2025 shows total revenue of $13,672 million, down 0.9% year‑over‑year, operating income of $3,131 million (down 6.1%), net income attributable to shareholders of $1,137 million and EPS of $8.50 (basic) and $8.34 (diluted). Internet revenue rose 1.7% and mobile service revenue jumped 19.2% as the company added 493,000 mobile lines in the quarter and increased residential mobile lines by about 2.0 million year‑over‑year. Management said higher marketing and residential sales expenses weighed on operating results. Charter is rolling out consumer offerings including the Spectrum App Store and Xumo streaming boxes to new video customers. Market reaction was mixed, with Benzinga reporting shares trading lower after the report while snapshots from MarketWatch showed short‑term volatility, including a 1.4% intraday gain on one session.
