NEOM Board Appoints Aiman Al-Mudaifer CEO

Saudi Arabia has officially appointed Eng. Aiman Al-Mudaifer as the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, and Board Member of NEOM, the $500 billion giga-project central to the Kingdom's Vision 2030 economic diversification plan. Al-Mudaifer, who has served as NEOM's Acting CEO since November 2024, has focused on maintaining operational continuity, enhancing efficiencies, and accelerating progress across NEOM's strategic projects, including THE LINE, Oxagon, Trojena, and Sindalah. He brings extensive leadership experience from both the public and private sectors, notably leading the Local Real Estate Investment Division at the Public Investment Fund since 2018 and serving on several PIF portfolio company boards. NEOM aims to transform the Red Sea coast into a sustainable, futuristic city powered entirely by renewable energy, positioning itself as a new model for urban sustainability and economic growth. The NEOM Board expressed strong confidence in Al-Mudaifer's ability to lead the project into its next phase of execution and delivery. This leadership appointment underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to advancing its flagship giga-project under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's Vision 2030.
