White Supremacist Charged with Murder in Crash

Timothy Bradford Cole II, a 43-year-old resident of Huntington Beach and alleged member of a white supremacist gang, has been charged with murder following a high-speed police chase that resulted in the death of 25-year-old Hong Ngoc Nguyen, a Vietnamese tourist. The incident began on December 2, 2024, when Cole allegedly set fire to a bush at his sister's fiancé's home in retaliation for losing custody of his children. After police attempted to pull him over, he fled, leading officers on a brief pursuit before running a red light and crashing into a BMW X3. Nguyen was killed in the crash, while two others in the vehicle sustained serious injuries. Prosecutors have charged Cole with multiple felonies, including murder and arson, and he faces a potential sentence of up to 120 years in prison if convicted. His arraignment is scheduled for December 20, 2024.
