Denny Hamlin, 44, has signed a multi-year contract extension—likely his last—with Joe Gibbs Racing, marking his 20-year partnership with the only team he's raced for in his 706-race Cup Series career. Hamlin, currently leading the series with four wins this season, has accumulated 58 Cup Series victories, ranking 11th all-time, with major wins including three Daytona 500s, three Southern 500s, and a Coca-Cola 600, though he has yet to secure a series championship. He is aiming to complete the sweep of NASCAR’s crown jewel races at the upcoming Brickyard 400. Hamlin prefers the flexibility of a two-year contract to stay competitive and support JGR's program. Off the track, he co-owns 23XI Racing with Michael Jordan, which is presently involved in a court dispute over charter status.
