Ygremerley Junior Murat, a 20-year-old man from North Lauderdale, was arrested by the Broward Sheriff's Office on charges of extortion and solicitation of a child after allegedly coercing a 14-year-old girl into sending nude photos via social media. The investigation began in December when Internet Crimes Against Children detectives received a tip about Murat's solicitation and subsequent threats to post the victim's photos publicly if she did not comply with his demands for more explicit images. Authorities executed a search warrant at Murat's residence, where they discovered several videos of underage girls involved in sexual acts, leading to his confession. Murat is currently held without bond at the Broward County Main Jail, and detectives are concerned there may be additional victims.
