Former Man Utd Defender Tuanzebe Files Clinical Negligence Lawsuit

Axel Tuanzebe, the 27-year-old defender who recently joined Burnley, is suing his former club Manchester United for alleged clinical negligence related to medical advice given during his time there. The legal claim, filed in the High Court, pertains to a period starting in July 2022 involving an injury and is reportedly valued at over £1 million. Tuanzebe's career at United was marred by recurring injuries, which limited him to 37 appearances before his contract expired in 2023, after which he joined Ipswich and then Burnley. He came through United's youth academy, captained the club at every level, and had loan spells at Aston Villa, Napoli, and Stoke City. Despite injury setbacks at United, Tuanzebe established himself more consistently at Ipswich, helping them achieve promotion before signing with Burnley. Both Tuanzebe's lawyers and Manchester United have declined to comment on the lawsuit.
