Multiple U.S. Men Charged With Drugs, Firearms, DUI After Traffic Stops
Law enforcement agencies have recently arrested several individuals in separate incidents involving impaired driving, illegal firearms, and drug offenses. In Bowling Green, Kentucky, Caleb Weemoff was charged with DUI and multiple criminal mischief charges after crashing his vehicle while intoxicated, which severely injured his passenger. In North Charleston, South Carolina, Gerald Glenn Simmons was arrested during a traffic stop for possessing an illegal handgun and narcotics, including cannabis and THC-infused edibles. Meanwhile, in Kinston, North Carolina, two men, William Deeming and Jason Register, were charged after methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered during a traffic stop. Another Bowling Green man, William Anderson, faces drug trafficking and drug paraphernalia charges following a traffic stop where methamphetamine and related items were found, along with over $5,200 in cash. Additionally, Kevin Doherty in Greenock, Scotland, denies cocaine supply charges and awaits trial later this month.
