Tiger Woods and Son Set for PNC Return

Tiger Woods will participate in the PNC Championship with his son, Charlie, marking his return to competitive golf since July after undergoing his sixth back surgery in September. The PNC Championship, a 36-hole scramble event featuring major champions and their family members, will take place on December 21-22 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando. Woods, who missed the Hero World Challenge due to not feeling 'tournament sharp,' will be allowed to use a golf cart, facilitating his participation despite recent medical challenges. The Woods duo, who have yet to win the PNC Championship, finished fifth in 2023 and were runners-up in 2021. The event, notable for its familial atmosphere, will include other golf stars such as Nelly Korda, John Daly, and Fred Couples. This tournament will also serve as a precursor to Woods' participation in his team’s TGL opener in January 2025.
