Sands China Ltd. has launched the Alipay Tap! mobile payment service across its integrated resorts in Macao, in partnership with Alipay and Macau Pass. This innovative payment solution, which enables users to complete transactions by simply tapping their unlocked phones against a payment terminal, aims to enhance the convenience for both domestic and international tourists. The service is initially available at 300 merchants within Sands China's resorts, including major properties like The Venetian Macao and The Parisian Macao. By simplifying the payment process, the initiative seeks to boost engagement with the local economy, especially among mainland Chinese visitors who comprise a significant portion of Macao's tourism market. To incentivize adoption, tourists using Alipay Tap! will receive exclusive benefits during a promotional period.
