Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths projected an optimistic outlook, anticipating a total of 91.8 million passengers for the year. Additionally, the airport's strategic importance as a global aviation hub is emphasized by significant passenger traffic from key markets, particularly India and China. Meanwhile, Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku also experienced growth, serving over 815,000 passengers in July 2024, a 23% increase from the previous year, highlighting its emerging role as a transit hub.
