Fatal Road Accidents Reported Across Multiple Indian States

A series of fatal road accidents across India in July 2025 have resulted in significant loss of life and injuries. In Andhra Pradesh's Palnadu district, four members of the same family died in a head-on collision between two auto-rickshaws, reportedly due to overspeeding. In Bathinda, Punjab, four youths were killed when their car collided with a truck after an examination. On the Delhi-Haridwar highway, separate accidents claimed the lives of three Kanwar Yatra devotees and another individual, with several others injured. In Kannur, Kerala, four people died in incidents including two drownings and two road accidents, while in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, five Kanwariyas were injured in a van-truck collision. These incidents underscore the persistent dangers of road travel and the urgent need for enhanced safety measures across the country.
