Traffic Incidents Involving Tractor-Trailers Cause Disruptions

Several traffic incidents involving tractor-trailers have caused disruptions in different parts of the U.S. this week. In Charlotte, North Carolina, a crash on West Tyvola Road resulted in one person being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. In Hillsborough County, Florida, a tractor-trailer overturned on U.S. Highway 301, blocking lanes for several hours. Meanwhile, in Connecticut, a tractor-trailer carrying liquid nitrogen overturned on Interstate 395 after swerving to avoid a disabled car, leading to the closure of both northbound lanes and the hospitalizing of the driver with minor injuries. The liquid nitrogen created a visible vapor cloud, but officials confirmed it was harmless. James Fitzgerald, the driver of the disabled car, was later charged with multiple traffic violations.
