Indiana Secures Transfer Commitment from WR Jonathan Brady

Indiana football has secured a commitment from former Cal wide receiver Jonathan Brady, who will reunite with ex-Cal quarterback Fernando Mendoza for the 2025 season. Brady, who played three seasons split between New Mexico State and Cal, has accumulated 98 receptions for over 1,300 yards and 10 touchdowns in his college career. At Cal in 2024, he contributed 36 catches for 386 yards and three touchdowns, and played a key role in Cal's comeback victory over Stanford. Brady is expected to fill a crucial need for Indiana at slot receiver and on special teams after the loss of Tyler Morris to injury. His versatility as both an outside and slot receiver, as well as his experience as a return specialist, is seen as a valuable addition to the Hoosiers' roster. Indiana beat out schools like Miami and Tennessee to land Brady, who has one year of eligibility remaining.
