Protest outside Highland Park Illinois

Pro-Palestinian protesters staged a demonstration outside the home of Jewish Rep. Brad Schneider in Highland Park, Illinois, with around 40 demonstrators chanting anti-Israel slogans and using loudspeakers and drums in the early hours of the morning. The City of Highland Park condemned the antisemitic actions and confirmed that no arrests were made during the protest, which dispersed around 3:15 a.m. Police responded to noise complaints and ensured the safety of the neighborhood. Meanwhile, concerns were raised about the lack of immediate police response to high-priority 911 calls in Chicago, where half of the calls had no officers available, highlighting issues in the city's policing and criminal justice system.
