Sundance 2026 Adds Online Access, Final Utah Fest

The 2026 Sundance Film Festival will take place from January 22 to February 1 in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, marking its final year in the state before moving to Boulder, Colorado in 2027. The event will feature over 90 feature films, more than 50 short films, and the return of the Beyond Film series with industry talks and panels. Premieres will run through January 27, followed by legacy talks, special screenings, and archival presentations celebrating the festival's 40-year history. A major highlight will be a tribute to founder Robert Redford, with a special celebration at the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley on January 23. Key venues include the Eccles Theatre, The Ray Theatre, and Main Street, which will be closed to pedestrian traffic during the festival's first weekend. Remote audiences will have online access to selected films from January 29 to February 1, with the full lineup to be announced later.
