Two Ontario Doctors Charged Forgery, Identity Theft Linked Aurora Spa Probe

York Regional Police have charged two Greater Toronto Area doctors, Dr. Andrew Kiellerman and Dr. Leonard Direnfeld, in connection with a forgery and identity theft investigation linked to Georges Tsakiris, who was arrested earlier this year. The investigation began after a patient at an Aurora medical spa reported significant health issues following treatment, revealing that fraudulent prescriptions were issued by Tsakiris, who allegedly impersonated licensed medical professionals. Both doctors face multiple charges including assault causing bodily harm, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, forgery, identity theft, and personation with intent to gain advantage. The charges against Kiellerman and Direnfeld are directly connected to Tsakiris, making them co-accused in the same case. Police confirmed the matter is before the courts and currently do not anticipate any further arrests. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities encourage anyone with additional information to come forward.
