Despite initial acclaim and an emphasis on healthy, plant-based meals, the chain was unable to overcome ongoing financial difficulties. Hamilton, a committed vegan since 2017, had positioned Neat Burger as a healthier, meat-free dining option for consumers. The company has stated it is now focusing on its best-performing locations, with only two branches remaining in Milan.
