Diver Recovers 115-Year-Old Wedding Ring from Texas Lake

Jack O'Lynn Page, a Texas wife and mother, lost her 115-year-old diamond wedding ring while at Possum Kingdom Lake with her son's baseball team. Despite a community search involving players, parents, and grandparents, the heirloom could not be found initially due to the lake's challenging conditions. Ryan Prigmore from Blue Diver Search and Recovery was called in, but rough weather forced him to suspend his first dive. Prigmore returned the following day under calmer conditions and successfully retrieved the ring, reuniting it with an overjoyed Page who feared it was lost forever. Possum Kingdom Lake, a large man-made reservoir with extensive shoreline, posed a difficult environment for the search.
