South Africa Thrash Zimbabwe in First Bulawayo Test
South Africa's restructured Test team defeated Zimbabwe by 328 runs in the first Test at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. Corbin Bosch delivered a remarkable all-round performance, scoring his first Test century and taking five wickets in the same match. Dewald Brevis made a record-breaking debut with the fastest half-century by a South African debutant, while Lhuan-dre Pretorius also scored a century on debut. Wiaan Mulder contributed 147 runs in the second innings and took four wickets, helping set Zimbabwe a record target of 537. Due to injuries and post-championship rest, Keshav Maharaj captained the Proteas in Temba Bavuma's absence. Zimbabwe, missing key players, was outplayed by South Africa's depth and emerging talent.
