The song debuted live at Glastonbury and expresses themes of hope and faith amidst adversity, with lyrics reflecting a prayer for a better future. The band is currently on their Music of the Spheres World Tour, which has grossed nearly $946 million, making it one of the highest-grossing tours in rock history. 'We Pray' is part of a sustainable initiative, with physical copies made from recycled materials, including nine recycled plastic bottles per LP. Additionally, a full Arabic version of the track featuring Elyanna will be released on September 20. The album follows the earlier single 'feelslikeimfallinginlove' released in June.
