Tommy Robinson Released on Bail After GBH Arrest
Far-right activist Tommy Robinson, also known as Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was arrested by British Transport Police at Luton Airport after returning from Portugal, in connection with an alleged assault at St Pancras station on July 28. Video footage from the incident showed Robinson at the scene next to a man lying motionless, with Robinson claiming self-defense. The victim was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and has since been discharged. Robinson reportedly left the UK for Tenerife shortly after the incident, prompting police to search for him before his arrest on arrival from Faro, Portugal. He was taken into custody on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH), questioned, and later released on police bail until September 8. Robinson has publicly called for the release of CCTV footage as the investigation continues.
