The video opens with a nod to his past decision, as Big Sean, dressed as Morpheus, offers Smith a choice between red and blue pills, symbolizing the chance to reverse his career regret. In this Matrix-themed video, Smith recreates iconic scenes from the original film, including the 'bullet time' stunt and various fight sequences. Smith has openly discussed his reasons for declining the role, citing confusion during the pitch meeting with the Wachowskis, which ultimately led him to choose 'Wild Wild West' instead. He expressed no regrets about the decision, acknowledging Keanu Reeves was the perfect choice for Neo. The music video marks the lead-up to Smith's first solo album, 'Based on a True Story,' set to be released in March 2025.
