India's Mohun Bagan Super Giants have declined to travel to Iran for their scheduled Asian Champions League Two match against Tractor SC due to escalating security concerns in the region. The Kolkata club has requested the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to reschedule the match, which was set to occur in Tabriz. In a statement, the club noted that the issue will be referred to the relevant AFC committees for further updates. Meanwhile, in the top-tier Asian Champions League Elite, Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia continued their strong start with a 5-0 victory over Al-Shorta of Iraq. Other notable matches included Gwangju FC's 1-0 win over Kawasaki Frontale and Pohang Steelers' 3-0 win against Shanghai Port. The tournament features 24 teams split into two groups of 12, with the top eight from each advancing to the knockout stage.
