67-Year-Old Man Dies in Adrian Vehicle Accident

A 67-year-old man from Adrian, Michigan, died after being trapped under a vehicle that slipped off a jack while he was performing maintenance on Tuesday afternoon in the 900 block of South Winter Street. Police and fire crews responded around 2:40 p.m., but the man was already deceased upon their arrival. Investigators determined that the accident occurred when the jack failed, causing the vehicle to fall and fatally pin the man. The victim's name has not been released. Authorities are asking anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact Adrian Police Detective Lamar Rufner. The case remains under investigation as officials seek more details.
